MINDFUL MONDAYS

Mindful Mondays at Jade Castle include one hour yoga instruction!

When: Every Monday at 5:45pm

Where: Jade Castle Studios

Greenville, SC 29605

Cost: $10/class

This class is for all—from beginners to advanced yogis. The Vinyasa sequence focuses on basic yoga postures and sequencing, and the fundamentals of power yoga. Practitioners will learn to link breath with movement, quiet the mind, and tone the body, inside and out, with a moderate to fast paced flow. Bring a mat, towel, water, an open mind and heart!

Instructor: Prentiss Standridge 

Prentiss was first introduced to the physical benefits and discipline of yoga while studying Acting at the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater's program in Minneapolis. She remembers stepping into her first heated Vinyasa class, and wondering if she would ever make it out alive. Not only did she complete the class alive and well, but Prentiss began to realize the heart enriching benefits of yoking mind, body, and spirit in challenging situations, on and off the mat. In 2012, she received her Power Yoga Teacher Training from Corepower Studios in Minneapolis. As a teacher, Prentiss provides powerful affirmations for beginners, and challenges yogis to use their mat as a mirror for self-exploration with the breath at the forefront of every class. DESCRIPTION

Jade Castle Studios is a hub and home for artists of all kinds (filmmakers, videographers, photographers, musicians, visual artists, actors, writers, performers, etc.) here in the upstate; providing office and studio space, resources, networking opportunities, educational programs and entertainment events.

Our goal is to assist artists in creating a profession out of their work and showcasing their talent as well as give back to the community. Also, to provide the foundation to create, build, nurture and expand the arts community.

We are accepting applications for studio tenants as well as those interested in holding an event or teaching a class at the studio. We are looking for professionals. Professionals that want to motivate, help and nurture other artists.
